The Hyper-RFI

TeleFirma's process is different. Our copyrighted RFI results in bringing you "apples to apples" comparisons of vendor responses to over 200 expert questions in over thirty-five different areas:

  • Questions which focus on vendor's capabilities, capacity and competence rather then the Client's environment;
  • Questions which should be asked by any enterprise looking at TEM applications. Questions you need answered.
  • Questions designed to get you the information you need to make an informed decision about the types of vendors and technology approaches that will work in your environment.

TeleFirma firmly believes that our client's should understand the marketplace, the available approaches and the technologies before asking for Proposals and Pricing.

There is little value in going through an RFI process that is simply going to get you warmed-over marketing material. You want "apples to apples' substantive data that educates all the stakeholders effectively and gives everyone a real sense of what is going to work in your unique environment.

Client Reference Checks

We ask vendors to supply references during the RFI process, and our reference questionnaires mirror the Hyper-RFIs in many respects. We ask for references early in the process because there is far more value in using this "real world" feedback to further qualify a vendor than dealing with middling enthusiasm when you were looking for ratification of a decision already made.

This shortens the process and allows for an "eyes wide open" approach to "short-listing".

Managed Request for Proposal

The pre-selection phase of TeleFirma's offerings culminates in an RFP process that the client controls.

TeleFirma can quickly help our clients turn around an RFP which zeroes in on pricing, customization, implementation and operational issues geared to our client's unique environment. Most enterprises have established methods and requirements for RFPs and we are happy to let them lead those efforts.

On-site demonstrations and Q&A sessions with the selected vendors will follow this approach.

TeleFirma will not, under any circumstance provide vendor assessments or make vendor recommendations to the client during the acquisition process. We believe our comprehensive questions and scoring methodology will make the proper vendor self-evident. But to insure optimal participation of the vendor community in the Hyper-RFI process, we must remain vendor-neutral.
